The military of Brazil has joined to try and help battle the dengue fever outbreak, which has already killed nearly 70 people and infected around 45,000. The military of Brazil will be used to help with care of the outbreak, as military hospitals will be used to try and ease the burden on other civilian hospitals.

The state called on its fellow neighbors in Brazil to send supplies as well as doctors to help with victims of the disease.

Thousands of members of the Brazilian military are working not only with the military hospitals but also by spraying to try and get rid of the mosquitoes which carry the virus.
Symptoms from dengue fever include high fever, headaches, and joint pain. It is believed that the outbreak has been the worst in urban areas where the mosquitoes can breed in standing water and trash.
