After Monday night's special episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians it's easy to come away with the impression that Kendall Jenner is the most down-to-earth member of her famous family. The high school cheerleader was looking forward to her Sweet 16 birthday party, but first she had to thwart mom Kris Jenner's over-the-top plans. When she found out Kris was organizing a birthday party in the Bahamas behind her back, Kendall was far from impressed. When she confronted mom about the plans, Kris complained she was "acting a little unappreciative."
Kendall shot back: "You're trying to make this bigger and bigger and it's embarrassing me. You're just giving me this, like you're just handing it to me and I don't want it."Instead of the tropical bash, Kendall opted for a party at a Hollywood hotel where guests were invited to bring toys for kids at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles. While it was still way more lavish than the average Sweet 16 party, Kendall certainly toned down her mom's big ideas.
Of course, being 16 isn't all about responsible party planning. Kendall also made a big deal out of sneaking out of the house and flying to Las Vegas to get a tattoo, but in the end she made the grown-up decision that she should wait until she's older. So there you have it. Kendall is the most responsible, mature Kardashian because she gives gifts to sick children, and has decided to hold off on having a silly Italian phrase permanently etched onto the back of her neck.
