By the remarks left in our articles, and speechless faces in the arena Sunday night, it's proven that John Cena will be more than just missed. At WWE Survivor Series, John Cena was faced with a choice, allow Wade Barrett to win and become WWE champion, or count the three on Randy Orton and step away from the WWE forever. He respectably chose the latter. This decision not only impacted Raw and Nexus, but it reached out further than some may have anticipated.

Isn't wrestling scripted? Are we, the fans supposed to care about a given individual so much that we would threaten to boycott the product altogether? This is what John Cena means to the WWE Universe. Despite all the Cena Sucks chants, and the boos mixed in with all the cheers, Cena is truly love. Would Randy Orton get the same treatment should he step away from the business right now? Nobody threatened to change the channel when Batista or Jericho, former multi-time world champions, walked away the company. Regardless of their status as a heel or face, the impact was never going to touch Cena.

Again, haters can say all they want about Cena's wrestling, but there's nobody since The Rock and Stone Cold fans care about more (with HBK being the exception and not the rule) other than John Cena.

Now will Cena really be gone? No, he wasn't even 24hrs removed from being "fired" from the WWE before we saw him reappear. He's now got a more interesting storyline than we've seen over the coarse of the last few months. So what does this all mean? It's showing just how powerful Cena is, and how well loved he truly is. As the saying goes, absence makes the heart grow fonder...and wrestling fans can't even go a day without the champ.

Although I'm sure there will be a ton on naysayers, but when it's all said and done, even the haters will see John Cena's name mentioned with Ric Flair, The Rock, Stone Cold and HBK as one of the greatest Sports Entertainers of all time.
