Well, some of the rumors that have been flying around this week are actually true. And this one's a doozy: Russell Brand has filed for divorce from Katy Perry. TMZ broke the story and says the British comedian has filed paperwork in L.A., citing "irreconcilable differences."

Brand then released a statement: "Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends."There's no confirmation, but TMZ suggests Brand might have blindsided his wife by filing the divorce petition. The outlet has also gotten a hold of the divorce documents, which say there are "community property assets" -- hinting that there's either no pre-nup or if they have one, it doesn't include all of the earnings and other assets they accumulated during their 14-month marriage. Also worth noting: There's no date of separation listed.

The rumors went wild this week about trouble brewing for the stars, since both were spotted without their wedding rings recently. And they spent Christmas 7,000 miles apart. Brand celebrated in London with his family, while Perry spent her holiday splashing around in a bikini in Hawaii.

Both US and UK media outlets have reported their romance has been on the rocks for a few weeks now, despite the couple going on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to insist they "really are happy."The two met at the MTV VMAs in 2009 and got married in October 2010 in India.

Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldana have definitely kissed, as you can see in the photographic evidence above. However, that kiss was for the cameras -- she's his love interest in their upcoming flick The Words. But, we hear all this practicing on the set has led to a real life romance!

A source who goes unnamed, and undoubtedly knows everything, told E! Online: "They are totally dating."Apparently they've been hanging out a lot outside the set, and even planned to go on a romantic ski trip in the Rockies over the holidays. They were previously seen enjoying a swanky dinner in Manhattan, off the clock. A rep for Saldana said about a month ago that the two are strictly friends. But, we've heard that before. We were in awe of Alessandra Ambrosio when she hit the Victoria's Secret runway three months after giving birth, but we're now completely dumbstruck by news that she was actually two months pregnant while walking in the most recent show. The 30-year-old model confirmed to US Magazine that she's expecting her second child with longtime fiance Jamie Mazur sharing,

Family is the most important thing for me and I'm thrilled to be adding to the family. I'm fortunate to have a loving and supportive family. It's a blessing that it will soon be growing. Although her stomach still looked rock hard to us, we now notice the Brazilian beauty's toned tummy was never on full display during the November show. Given her quick metabolism, she should be back to her lingerie clad days in no time. Following the birth of her first child, Alessandra told New York Daily News that she lost the baby weight by "only do yoga once a week or so." Some girls really do have all the luck.

Bipasha Basu has no qualms about working in multi-starrer films and says the only trick to work comfortably with an ensemble cast is to keep one's ego aside. "You should be ready to make some sacrifices in the film. You can't have egos there," she said at the promotional event of her forthcoming film 'Players'.

The 32-year-old has been part of multi-starrers like 'Race', 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' and 'Dum Maaro Dum'. Her next 'Players' is yet again a multi-starrer. Apart from Bipasha, Sonam Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Sikander Kher too feature in the cast.

'Players', a remake of Hollywood hit 'The Italian Job', releases Jan 6. Bipasha says her co-stars were like her extended family. "When you are working, you are not thinking about male or female co-stars. I would talk about all the co-stars. I am blessed to have such co-stars in the film. It was fun. We travelled extensively for the film, we stayed away from our homes. They became like an extended family," said Bipasha whose infamous spat with Kareena Kapoor at the beginning of her career made headlines.

Meanwhile, Bipasha is working on 'Jodi Breakers' with R. Madhavan, 'Raaz 3D' and 'Race 2'. She is also awaiting release of her Hollywood venture 'Singularity', starring Josh Hartnett and Abhay Deol.

Melissa McCarthy was one of the most likeable breakout stars of 2011. That's why it was so gratifying to see the Bridesmaids actress take home an Outstanding Lead Actress Emmy for her work in Mike & Molly.

We're still not sure how much everyone knew when all five of the nominees headed up to the stage as their names were called out. Clearly this was scripted, but where did the script end? Did Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Edie Falco, Laura Linney and Martha Plimpton all know they were about to lose? Because they didn't seem surprised or even upset about losing when they immediately started congratulating McCarthy on her win.

Upon winning, McCarthy was handed a beauty queen's bouquet of roses along with a frickin' tiara. She dabbed tears away from her eyes as she approached the microphone and warned the audience, "I'm sorry, I'm a cryer!" McCarthy proceeded to extract tears from eyes as she explained, "I'm from Plainville, Illinois, and I'm standing here and it's kind of amazing."

The holidays are all about family and forgiveness -- and, let's be honest, presents --  and it sounds like Maria Shriver might be accepting gifts and goodwill from estranged husband Arnold Schwarzenegger these days. TMZ reports Shriver, who filed for divorce in July, is having second thoughts about divorcing the Governator.

But first, yesterday's poll: It looks like Amber Heard is the hottest holiday hottie of them all. Zimbio readers have given the blonde bombshell a strong 41% lead in the quest to figure out which star would be most kissable under the mistletoe. Sorry, Sara, Erin, and Jen.

Now back to guessing if Shriver and Schwarzenegger will ever kiss and makeup. Apparently the soon-to-be ex-Governator has strong religious beliefs against divorce, which is a big factor in her hesitation to pull the completely plug on the marriage. And, we hear Arnie is buttering her up with gifts and affection. He's reportedly cranked on the charm and is being "extremely sweet." That's fine and good and all, but we have to ask: Do you think she'd be willing to overlook the whole love child scandal and give their marriage another go?

Who needs musical numbers when you've got a room full of liquored-up Hollywood types laughing at the misfortunes of whoever happens to be targeted by Ricky Gervais? The Golden Globes was our favorite awards show this year, and not just because they serve alcohol to insecure actors facing a four out of five chance of losing to someone younger, better looking, or both.

This year the Globes proved you don't need an overly elaborate set and a youth demographic to produce an entertaining show. It somehow became the cool awards show to watch thanks to the subversive nature of its host and the way everyone is dressed like its the Oscars, but they still act like the whole show is a joke. It's like 30 Rock or Community or Conan O'Brien. It's never going to get the ratings of Two and a Half Men, but its weird idiosyncrasies make it about 10 times as much fun to watch.

While the stars are bundled up in L.A. this week, stars like hot new couple Penn Badgley and Zoe Kravitz soaked up the sun in bathing suits in Miami Friday. The duo, who debuted their romance in October, relaxed on beach chairs and took a dip in the pool while sipping on cocktails. Kravitz, who's the daughter of rocker Leni Kravitz, sported a floral bikini top with coral bottoms, while the Gossip Girl star, 25, wore board shorts and a messy mop of curly hair.

It's not exactly going to be a white Christmas for these two, but they certainly don't seem to mind. And Badgley probably also doesn't mind that his ex-girlfriend, Blake Lively, is hunkered down with new beau Ryan Reynolds for the holidays in Vancouver. The co-stars split in October 2010 after three years of dating, after all. But, while Lively has dated a host of Hollywood heartthrobs since then, including Leonardo DiCaprio, it seems as though this is Badgley's first foray back into the dating game. So far, so good!

Melanie Amaro officially has The X Factor. The 19-year-old singer from Coral Springs, FL was crowned the winner of the first season of X Factor USA, beating out 30-year-old single father Josh Krajcik. Amaro takes home a $5 million recording contract, as well as a starring role in a Pepsi commercial. Oh, and she's also got a nifty bedazzled Pepsi themed trophy to put on her mantle.

Amaro was so overwhelmed when she won that she had trouble putting her feelings into words, instead simply repeating, "Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God." Later, she became so lost in her emotions that she forgot the words to "Listen," the song that had helped to seal her victory during the previous night's Top 3 performance finale.

"My mind went blank. I was so overwhelmed. I couldn't even think. All I was saying was, 'You just won. Can you believe that? You just won?' And I've sung "Listen" so many times and my mind went blank. I could not remember the words," Amaro told USA TODAY after the show.

Amaro, who grew up in the British Virgin Islands and hid her thick accent from the X Factor cameras for much of the competition, did not have an easy road to the finale. She was initially cut by judge and mentor Simon Cowell before he realized his mistake and flew to her home in Florida to ask her to come back to the competition. Week after week, Melanie wowed the judges and America with her powerhouse vocals.

"Melanie deserves it," Krajcik told host Steve Jones after Amaro was named the winner. "She has a wonderful voice. I had such an incredible experience here. I got to be myself, sing what I want to sing, and I couldn't be happier."

Chris Rene, a recovering addict and rapper from Santa Cruz, CA, came in third place. So what does Melanie Amaro plan to do with her winnings? "We'll see what happens. That's all I can say. I'm just so thankful. I'm so thankful. Whatever happens, happens."

Turns out, being eliminated from The X Factor before the finals is just fine if you’re Drew Ryniewicz! The 14-year-old singer, who first auditioned with Justin Bieber‘s “Baby,” got to live in her own fantasy, when she joined the 17-year-old pop star for the filming of a finale performance.

Justin sang with Stevie Wonder and then invited Drew on stage for “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.” After she sang the last line, Justin told her she will go far and that he lost his first competition too. Additionally, Justin’s mom got to meet and hug Paula Abdul.
