Sachin and Rahul Dravid new World Record

Sachin and Rahul Dravid have set a new world record today at Mirpur in against Bangladesh in 2nd Test – The record is for the most century partnerships by any pair in history.
They went past Australians Matthew Hayden and Ricky Ponting and the West Indian pair of Gordon Greenidge and Desmond Haynes who have 16 such stands.
Both Sachin and Dravid made centuries in this test match. Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar made 143 (182) and the Wall Rahul Dravid made 111 (188).
The openers Sehwag and Gautam gambhir made Half-centuries which set India way top on Bangladesh. At stumps, captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was unbeaten on 22 from 38 deliveries, having hit two boundaries.
Earlier, Virender Sehwag hit a brisk 56 from 63 deliveries, adding 103 runs for the opening wicket with Gautam Gambhir to give India a good start.
